Joan Schrader is a compassionate professional whose unique multi-faceted perspective on life is personified in her belief that God has provided the means in which to heal the diseases that affect all of us during our lifetime. This spiritual mindset formed the fundamental framework that precipitated Joan’s desire to pursue her interest in herbal medicine. She received her designation as a Master Herbalist (MH) in 2006, is a Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, has studied Iridology, and is currently in the process of completing her degree as a Doctor of Naturopathy.

Her research and its practical application has afforded her with myriad opportunities to consult with and educate people around the world through direct intervention and through her series of lectures. Said lectures have provided her with a nexus from which to articulate her progressive vision to improve the human condition through education. Joan is a published author and is currently in the process of writing a collection of books on the healing properties of herbal medicines, alternative treatments, and empowering the individual.

Moreover, Joan is co-founder of Health and Wisdom, a unique and innovative company whose specialization in Magnesium products and herbal formulas has transformed the lives of many of her clients, especially those who have benefited from her custom treatment modalities for those who suffer from kidney stones and the Herpes Virus. Further, she co-founded an international manufacturing company that produces products for the medical industry, dental and x-ray concerns, photography industry and printing press operations, all of which are sold and shipped throughout the world.

Her community work is manifest in her passionate commitment to the rescue and protection of animals. She has been instrumental in providing facilities and care for both domesticated and wild animals. Privately Joan has worked with children and teenagers as a mentor and counselor. She plays the piano and leads a choir. Her interests include reading, crocheting, playing the piano, and enjoying the beauty of the natural world. Currently Joan lives in rural Missouri with her husband, Bob, 14 dogs, 9 cats, and lots of deer and turkey!

"Holly" was found in a ditch with a broken leg. She was barely weaned and deer cannot tolerate any type of milk replacer for other animals. I gave her Jurassic Greens which is juiced Kamut, Barley, and Alfalfa grass. This would be very close to her mother's milk. You can see how well she did!
